- Monitor and evaluate the performance of regional protection services technology systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and Video Management Systems (VMS).
- Manage risk, reliability, and system capacity to ensure optimal performance and system utilization.
- Conduct financial forecasts and manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost-effective operation and maintenance of technology infrastructure.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all regional incidents, providing expert escalation and resolution of complex issues.
- Oversee vendor performance, ensuring contractual obligations are met and exceeded.
- Leverage technological trends to propose innovative solutions that enhance our competitive edge.
- Design and implement integration plans for seamless interoperability between different protection service management systems.
- Develop and uphold business and technology standards, championing best practices across all operations.
- Regular travel to various sites.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the mining or related industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT and OT systems, including hands-on experience with surveillance and access management technologies.
- Demonstrated ability in managing large-scale budgets and projects.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish is highly advantageous for LATAM roles.
