- National Diploma or degree in Logistics or Supply chain
- Minimum 4 years experience in management experience in logistics industry
- Must have sound experience managing a fleet
- Requires comprehension of truck mechanics to anticipate potential issues
- Oversee and manage regional fleet operations, including fleet optimization, capacity planning, and insurance management.
- Monitor systems and drivers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance. Lead continuous process improvement initiatives and develop key performance indicators (KPIs). Coordinate breakdown and accident response efforts.
- Manage vehicle and driver operations, equipment maintenance, and health and safety controls. Provide leadership, mentoring, and team management. Implement cost control measures.
