    Description

    Are you passionate about software testing and proficient in both automation and manual testing? We're looking for a skilled Automation and Manual Tester to join our team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, and contribute to the success of our organization.

    What you'll do:

    • The Intermediate Quality Engineer will support testing activities by executing test cases, documenting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of deliverables.
    • Additionally, the Intermediate Quality Engineer will contribute to test automation efforts, assisting in identifying automation opportunities and developing automated test scripts under the guidance of the Senior Quality Engineer.

    Your Expertise:

    • Experience in quality assurance methodologies and practices.
    • Familiarity with software testing concepts and techniques.
    • Basic proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools is desirable.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Prior exposure to agile software development processes is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with Workday or similar HRIS platforms is a plus.
    • Must have experience with API: Postman, SOAP UI, Rest Assured.
    • Must have SQL experience (even if it's just basic queries).

    Qualifications Required:

    • Matric
    • Relevant IT/ Testing Qualification
    • ISTQB

    Other information applicable to the opportunity:

    • Initial contract position
    • Ideally, someone is based in Cape Town as they follow a hybrid way of work.
    • Years of experience/ Level: Intermediate/ 5+ years
