• In depth experience in decommissioning, installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical plants.
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with operation and maintenance manuals while utilizing best available techniques.
• Follow all health and safety rules and regulations. Keep work area clean, safe and orderly.
• In depth experience in replacement, installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment (pumps, gear boxes, valves, conveyor belts etc).
• Ability to perform alignment and balancing of various systems: pumps, fans drive etc
• Proficiency with computer-based applications, CADAM (3-D) software, AutoCAD, Catia v5.
• Identifies and resolves opportunities, gathers and analyses information, develops and implements actions plans to improve efficiency and reduce cost
• Evaluate and identify opportunities to eliminate waste associated with worker’s activities and how workers interact with the process and equipment
• Provide engineering support in operations to trouble shoot and resolve technical problems
• Carrying out plant optimization and automation studies.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
