Azariah Engelbrecht

I am a Software Engineer in Test who has a passion for all things automation. Despite my years of experience in the field I am still looking to grow in the Automation side of testing as I am always open to opportunities, to learn more and understand how to better architect out a Test Automation Solution and the best ways to go about preventing defects.

I am continuously on a journey to exploit, experience and understand on a technical and theoretical level how well Test Automation can be used on various technologies.

I enjoy working in teams that work well together and aim to achieve the quality standard that brings out their passion for technology.

I enjoy long walks on the beach, but lately I have been taking walks and hikes in our beautiful Cape Town City on Lions Head. I am trying my best to keep fit for a clear mind, to manage stress and have energy for the rest of the day.

I work both as a manual and automation tester. I have been focusing a lot of my career on the test automation side. I have been exposed to many technologies in the programming space as well as CI/CD space.

I obtained my National Diploma in Information Technology in 2013
