    Role Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and vigilant CCTV Operator to monitor our surveillance systems and ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional observation skills, and the ability to react swiftly to any suspicious activity or incidents. As a CCTV Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment by actively monitoring live footage, identifying potential security threats, and coordinating with relevant authorities when necessary.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Grade 12, additional education or certifications in security-related fields is a plus.
    • Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role.
    • Strong observational and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
    • Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
    • Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
    • Certification in CCTV operation or surveillance techniques highly advantageous.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises.
    • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify potential security risks.
    • Report any suspicious activities, incidents, or hazards to the appropriate authorities.
    • Control and monitor access to the facility, checking credentials and ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
    • Issue visitor badges and maintain accurate records of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
    • Respond promptly to emergency situations, including alarms, medical emergencies, and other incidents.
    • Implement emergency procedures as necessary, such as evacuations and lockdowns.
