Description

Our client, the owner of four (6) very successful Nail Salons in Cape Town and surroundings, is urgently looking for an Assistant Manager to join their team.

To be successful in this role, you should be highly organised and able to manage clients with grace, even during peak demand.

Key Responsibilities

Warmly greet clients and inform nail technicians of their arrival
Book and confirm appointments
Process transactions and issue receipts
Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability
Inform clients about new services and promotions
Cross-sell services and products when appropriate (e.g. through informative brochures and gift cards)
Maintain a tidy reception area
Order business cards, brochures and stationery as needed

Key Requirements

Matric
Proven work experience as a Front Desk Representative, or similar role
Hands-on experience with a Point of Sales system
Excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone, and email) with a positive client service attitude
Solid organisation and record-keeping skills
An ability to remain calm under stressful circumstances
Must have a professional appearance
