    Description
    Our client is looking for a Marketing Account Manager to join their team based in Southern Suburbs, Cape Town.

    Role Overview:

    A dynamic individual to fulfil a marketing role, with the primary focus on managing general marketing needs including working on advertising campaigns with paid partners, community management, and social media engagement and helping to manage the growth of a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) eCommerce site, global growth strategy, some B2B marketing, and coordinating the timelines and relevant partners to move the strategy forward.
    A role that requires an organized and dynamic person who is keen to grow with the brand.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage baseline marketing activities: social media, content creation, posting, & copy.
    • Oversee ambassadors, influencers, & content creators, ensuring a steady flow of quality content.
    • Act as the liaison and account manager between the brand and the paid media agency.
    • Coordinate with the agency for newsletters, strategy, design, and video editing.
    Essential Skills and Traits:
    • Excellent communication skills, organization, time management and efficiency.
    • Persuasive and adept at representing the brand to potential content creators and ambassadors.
    • Strong creative eye for distinguishing between high-quality and mediocre content.
    • Ability to curate mood boards and guide photographers for brand-aligned photo shoots.
    Desired Experience:
    • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not paramount.
    • Proven track record of commitment and longevity in previous roles.
    • Familiarity with technologies like Shopify and the ability to adapt to new tools like ClickUp.
    Personal Attributes:
    • Shares brand values, particularly in health and wellness.
    • Strong teamwork ethic, commitment, and ability to connect with the team.
    • Young , dynamic, and in tune with new technologies and trends.
    Additional Considerations:
    • Budgeting and financial understanding of the marketing department are bonuses.
    • Capability to manage a content team, scheduling, and internal communication.
    Recruitment Focus:
    • Looking for the right calibre of person, aligning with the brand's ethos and team culture, over specific marketing experience.
    NOTE: This is a hybrid position with a 2/3 weekly split.
