    Description

    One of our diagnostic pathology clients are looking for an experienced Finance Manager from the Public Health sector, with funding/grants experience to join their team in JHB.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervising Grant Accountants and Administrators
    • Implementing recommendations
    • Stakeholder engagement
    • Manage compiling of general ledger recons
    • Project management - cost centre
    • Oversee transactions and journal entries
    • Draft grant reports
    • Manage payments and claims
    • Planning and overseeing audits
    • Resolve complex accounting issues

    Must have:

    • Matric
    • ND Financial Management / Accounting
    • No less than 8 years' experience within funding / grants, of which 5 years' must have been within a supervisor / manager role
    • Familiar with PPPFA, PFMA, Treasure regulations, GRAP, BBBEE
    • Knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting
    • Analytical
    • Communication
    • Management
    • Numerical
    • Business acumen
    • Valid drivers' license
    • Clear ITC (Credit record)
    • Clear criminal record
    • Reference checks will be conducted upfront
