Primary Purpose


Our goal is to build a team of multi-skilled, motivated, and talented individuals, we have an exciting opportunity and in search for an induvial who has strong business acumen combined with the right skills and mindset to assess and mitigate principal risks and compliance of the Division and the Bank's business together with its growth and profitability and ensures that appropriate management and technological systems are in place for delivering the expected services and performance standards.


The successful incumbent will be responsible for the crafting and implementing the Fleet Division's overall strategic plan, Corporate Governance, Compliance Policies and operational performance of the division in line with the Bank's overall Growth and Profitability agenda.

This is an executive role with the core responsibility being the implementation and achievement of Fleet Division' current and future strategic direction set by the Bank MD and ensures delivery of strategic and operational key performance results, and outcomes, across the Bank.


They will also be accountable for developing new business opportunities and sustaining valuable relationships with private and public sector stakeholders to ensure the bank's continuous expansion and business growth, in particular with the Bank's stated strategic intent to the Fleet Partner of Choice.

The Executive will be responsible for providing strategic direction with regards to market trends, strategic alliance models as may be appropriate to ensure the Fleet Division stays ahead of its competitors in its chosen markets.


Your duties and responsibilities may include but not limited to:

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Degree or Post Graduate Qualification in Banking related discipline, Finance and Management.

Experience

  • Over years' experience in Banking or Finance industry inclusive of 7 years in Senior Executive Management position in a Commercial Bank
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of Fleet industry experience
  • Financial Management
Experience

  • Strong Credit Risk Management and Lending background and experience
  • Strong Communication and People Management, interpersonal and influencing skills to build strong business relationships, foster stakeholder engagement, create new partnerships and drive culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills with a focus on securing strategic partnerships, business planning, people and financial management.
  • Membership of any professional body.
  • Meeting other Fit and Proper Requirements for a Responsible person as set out by regulators.
