I am applying for the assistant professor of public administration  vacancy.  I am confident that I have the education, experience and training to be the best applicant for this position.

I have earned a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Public Management, and a Postgraduate Diploma (Honours Degree) in Public Administration.  I also completed a skills development facilitator course with Labournet last year and the Nyukela sms (Senior Management Service) entry certificate.  I am also an accredited facilitator,  assessor and moderator with various sector education and training authorities in South Africa.

I possess seventeen years of experience holding various positions inter-alia administration management, finance (bookkeeping and accounts), training and development facilitator, and assessor, moderator and academic coordinator and management assistance. 

I gained a lot of experience and skills that I would like to put to good use by filling this position with your institution.

My experience includes working with and managing projects and monitoring the activities of the staff to ensure everyone is following all policies and procedures. I have the skills to represent the institution at meetings and special events and to work with other experts to help resolve any issues the organization faces.

My previous duties included monitoring performance and activities, analyzing organizational trends and helping to create and implement new strategies and contracts for the organization. I also monitored and evaluated existing strategies to determine their effectiveness and to make improvements when necessary.

I have the ability to work independently or as a team to meet the objectives of the organization. I have excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize the work to meet all deadlines. I also have the interpersonal and communication skills needed to interact with management, staff and the public.
