    The IIE Varsity College, Nelson Mandela Bay campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer (Part-Time) for the semester modules in following second for the 2024 academic year:
    • Crime in Context
    • Introduction to South African Criminal Justice System

    Competencies Required:

    • Communications skills
    • Organisational skills
    • Time management

    Minimum Qualification Requirements:

    • An Honours or Postgraduate Diploma (NQF level 8 qualification) in Criminology and/or Criminal Justice
    • Masters (NQF level 9 qualification) in Criminology and/or Criminal Justice is advantageous

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

    • Lecturing experience preferably two years lecturing experience in the discipline of Criminology
    • Work experience ideally in one or other field related to forensic criminology, research, criminologist, forensic analyst, victim empowerment, correctional services

    Working Conditions:

    • Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role

    • Position is contracted for six months (July 2024 – Dec 2024)
    • Position is part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00 on weekdays
    • Classes are conducted face-to-face on campus.
