    Description

    Our client is looking for a Financial Manager to join their Fruit Export Team. Experience within the Fruit / Export industry will be beneficial.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead and manage finance team to achieve required outcomes
    • Manage full creditors process
    • Manage full debtors process, including credit insurance
    • Manage full treasury function
    • SARB applications and monitoring of compliance
    • Onboarding of new customers and producers
    • Cashflow management
    • Contribute to compilation and monitoring of budgets
    • Monthly review and updating of standard costs, including reporting on over/under recoveries
    • Reporting on profitability including relevant analysis per commodity
    • Contribute to financial statement reporting as required
    • Identify and mitigate risks identified
    • Ensure compliance with export documentation and reporting requirements
    • Oversee accounting related to the division
    • Any other relevant accounting functions as required


    REQUIREMENTS

    • BCom Degree or similar
    • 5 years relevant experience within the agricultural or export industry
    • Computer skills and extensive experience in Excel
    • Proficiency in financial software systems (Dynamics 365 Business Central is advantageous)
    • Cost accounting & standard cost principles essential
    • Forex handling
    • Financial Reporting
    • Strong leadership ability
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Excellent organisational skills, i.e. prioritization key element
    • Energetic and disciplined
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • High attention to detail a pre-requisite
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Valid drivers license

    SALARY

    Negotiable depending on experience and qualification
