Business Development Consultant - Newtown, South Africa - Doves Funeral Services
Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Building and Managing sales agents/team and monitoring monthly performance to meet the company's financial objectives monitoring performance
- Liaising with marketing department to review current market trends in order to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders and ensure effective broker service levels.
- Identify and create coordinated business development opportunities
- Driving sales, increasing revenue, expanding markets, and accomplishing financial objectives
- Communicating ICSA's vision, mission, and value proposition.
- Contribute to the development of marketing plans and strategies
- Implementing and executing marketing initiatives and activities for the brand.
- Managing campaigns and interventions in line with opportunities, available resources, products scope and best practice
- Coaching sales teams in best practices and effective tactics for prospecting new markets, partners, channels, and customers
- Developing contacts and relationships within the industry and customer base to understand and respond to competition, pricing, and product demand changes
- Conduct market research on rival companies & products to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer need
- Suggesting new product offerings or improvements to sales or marketing efforts
- Preparing & analyzing monthly consolidated, aggregated or summarized results for Manco
- Present sales performance reports
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Ensure 100% data integrity
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Commercial qualification or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience in funeral / financial services or insurance environment
- RE5/RE1 advantageous
- Valid driver's license
