    Description
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with buyers/retailers on seasonal ranges.
    • Build and nurture relationships with retail buyers and decision-makers. Understand their business models, target audience, and preferences.
    • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of our products while maintaining quality standards.
    • Monitor market trends and innovations to suggest new products that align with design visions and sustainability goals.
    • Analyse sales plans, budgets and forecast across customers.
    • Foster strong relationships with suppliers, working together to ensure a smooth supply process.
    Requirements:
    • Min 3-5 years' experience in sales/merchandising/product development within the fashion/clothing industry.
    • Min 3-5 years experience dealing with fashion imports.
    • Familiarity with properties and production processes of any of the following: clothing, footwear or accessories.
    • Must be willing to travel potentially locally and abroad.
    • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Good with numbers.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    Competencies:
    • Must be sales driven and be able to close deals and trade.
    • Exceptional technical merchandising skills.
    • Proven ability to interpret trends.
    • Proven ability to conceptualise product.
