The engineering industry, being hands-on and working on any kind of machinery is something im extremely passionate about. Being afforded the opportunity to qualify through the Durban South Training Trust ( DSTT) institution has offered me the opportunity to gain both the theoretical and practical skills needed to help me become a professional tradesman. During my studies I was given the opportunity to work at three well known companies ( Isegen, Federal Mogul and Marine Hydraulics), this formed part of our practical experience. I am also currently completing my N3 qualification at the Thekwini TVET College.

Having just recently completed my learnership, DSTT has scheduled us to hopefully complete our trade test by the end of this year or beginning of next year ( this was the information provided by the institution).

Dedicated, hardworking and goal driven are the characteristics that would best describe me in the working environment.

Getting employment and starting off my career is now my main priority and I look forward to hearing from your company.

I've been able to work in different companies that are in different industries thus allowing me to grasp different types of skills from these different environments.

Worked in the fabrication department and trained and promoted to be the Computer Numerical Control Operator. 

Truworths - 2017 to 2019

Worked in sales and merchandising,  cashing and customer service.

SEESA - 2019

Worked in a call center and learnt important communication and team building skills.

These are the companies I've been able to work at while pursuing my studies in a Technical career, which I am extremely passionate about.

I was afforded the opportunity to further my studies through a learnership sponsored by Sapref at the Durban South Training Trust Centre. It is here that I gained both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to become a skilled Artisan. We were also given the opportunity to gain practical experience at three host companies ( Isegen, Federal Mogul and Marine Hydraulics).

Currently I am completing two outstandin course to complet my Electrical engineering (N3) qualification at Thekwini TVET College. 

I wrote my NSC examination in 2013 as a learner at Kharwastan Secondary School.
