    Description

    Are you passionate about beverages and creating unique flavors? Join RPO Recruitment's client, a leading food production company based in Cape Town, as a Beverage Developer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your creativity and expertise in developing new and innovative beverage products.

    As a Beverage Developer, you will be responsible for researching, formulating, and testing new beverage recipes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new products. If you have a passion for the food and beverage industry, a creative mindset, and excellent taste buds, we would love to hear from you

    Responsibilities

    • Research and develop new beverage recipes and flavors
    • Conduct sensory evaluations and taste tests
    • Collaborate with the production team to scale up and test recipes for large-scale production
    • Create detailed product specifications and documentation
    • Stay updated on industry trends and market demands
    • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
    • Previous experience in beverage development or related roles
    • Strong creativity and ability to develop unique and appealing flavors
    • Good understanding of food safety and quality standards
    • Excellent sensory evaluation skills and taste buds
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and specifications
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
