    Job Summary

    The inspector is responsible for performing the direct supervision of all repair operations. It is his/her responsibility to ensure that all the work performed complies with the Quality Management System requirements and the aviation regulatory authority requirements.

    Responsabilities

    Reporting to the Person Responsible for Maintenance (PRM) located in Montréal, Canada, the inspector will:

    • Supervise, at our supplier's location (Thales Aerospace Communications Cape Town), all the repair activities
    • Ensure that the is work performed in accordance with all quality procedures
    • Perform the final inspection of the repaired product
    • Review the work package documents for all repaired units
    • Complete technical documents and update the data base
    • Perform quality audits
    • Main point of contact for Thales Aerospace Communications Montréal

    Qualifications and Skills

    With a technical educational background and at least five years of experience in the design, production or maintenance activity for aeronautical products, the candidate must demonstrate:

    • Strong organizational, human relations and problem-solving skills
    • Communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
    • Rigor, a sense of organization and an ability to plan, prioritize and execute several activities
    • Good ability to operate independently
    • Good ease of adaptation and availability
    • Good written and oral communication skills in English
    • Knowledge of the aerospace industry
    • Knowledge of aeronautical regulations
    • Knowledge of Microsoft software (Outlook Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
