    The research and development technician will form part of the R&D team. The main objective of this role is to work with the team to investigate, understand, develop, and improve the separation technology. Additionally assist maintenance of the testbenches and facility.
    • Operation of test-benches – all experimental tests
    • Capture and report data
    • Suggest improvements and alternatives
    • Maintain the test benches and experimental facility
    • Calibrate instrumentation
    • Assist with quality control
    • Update SOPs
    • Research and development of technology
    Requirements:
    • Scientific method orientated – organised, dedicated, accurate
    • Problem solving skills
    • Inquisitive
    • Attention to detail
    • Patient
    • Interest in research
    • Dedicated
    • Willingness to learn and take advice from team members
    • Able to work under pressure
    • Computer literate – Microsoft Office minimum
    • Good communication skills
    • Technically orientated
    • Practical hands-on capability
    • Strong Mechanical background (Skills in pipe work, pump, compressor mechanics)
    • Experience with gas handling (recommended)
