    Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Junior Debtors Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling filing and administrative tasks related to debtors and ensuring accurate and efficient record-keeping.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Debtors Administration:
      • Assist in maintaining debtor records.
      • Update and assist reconciling debtor accounts.
      • Generate and distribute debtor statements as needed.
      • Handle customer inquiries related to account balances and payments.
    2. Filing and Document Management:
      • Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
      • Ensure all debtor-related documents are filed accurately and timely.
      • Retrieve documents for internal and external audits as required.
    3. Communication:
      • Work closely with other departments to obtain and clarify debtor-related information.
      • Communicate effectively with customers regarding account inquiries and discrepancies.
      • Assist in preparing reports.

    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12
    • Previous experience in a similar role or internship is desirable.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
