    Description


    The primary objective of the Buying Executive role at Shoe City is to set the merchandise strategy for the business, ensuring alignment with Company objectives and market trends.

    This includes influencing and driving the seasonal product and purchasing strategy to meet the needs of our target customers while maximizing profitability.


    Additionally, the Buying Executive is responsible for overseeing the execution of the merchandise strategy through effective leadership and management of the Footwear Buying Team.

    This involves guiding the team in selecting the right suppliers, products and ranges to deliver on the Company's agreed value proposition and support marketing, sales, and in-store visual merchandising plans.


    Ultimately, the Buying Executive plays a pivotal role in shaping the product offering of Shoe City, driving sales, and positioning Shoe City as a leader in the footwear retail industry.
