    Description

    RPO Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency specializing in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our client's team in Johannesburg. As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects and ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with project team to gather necessary information and evaluate project plans and specifications
    • Analyze project documents and data to determine project requirements
    • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
    • Identify and analyze potential risks and opportunities for cost savings
    • Compile and analyze data to produce accurate estimates and project budgets
    • Communicate and negotiate with clients and contractors regarding cost estimates and project budgets
    • Track project costs and communicate any changes or updates to the project team

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in using construction estimating software
    • Knowledge of construction materials and methods
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
