Description
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our client's team.

As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and budgetary requirements.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to achieve project objectives.
  • Utilize your extensive PMU experience to streamline project processes and enhance overall project efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project management staff.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

Requirements:


  • Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr CPM)
  • Minimum of 8 years of postqualification experience in construction project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects, ideally within a PMU.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with South African building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
