    Description

    Job Objective:

    The Senior Processing Officer will be responsible for the work in the Branch business area, including but not limited to payment & clearing, NOSTRO account management, business accounting, trade finance products.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Update the Department's policies, procedures, workflow, and other relevant manuals.
    • Administrate the SWIFT infrastructure and in charge of daily processing & releasing SWIFT messages.
    • Administrate the Branch's clearing system, like CIPS RMB clearing system, SAMOS Rand payment system, etc.
    • Administrate core banking system operational work, including system parameters maintenance, various business accounting, daily accounting voucher check and etc.
    • Administrate the Branch's external account, including the Branch's NOSTRO accounts and client's account.
    • Act as the verifier role of treasury back-office, including SSI maintenance, settlement of money market, bond trading, FX and etc.
    • Administrate the Branch trade finance products, including L/C, guarantee, trade finance loan, etc.
    • Perform other duties assigned by the Department's Head.

    Qualification:

    • Bachelor's Degree: Finance/Business/Accounting

    Experience:

    • At least 5 years in Banking clearing or settlement fields, candidates with experience of SAMOS participant application or SAMOS system operation would be preferred.
