    Description

    Our client, situated in Kuilsriver, have an available position for a HR Assistant to join their well-establish manufacturing organisation.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Provide assistance and support in the following:

    • employment equity reporting
    • recruitment and new employee induction process
    • Day-to-day ad hoc and administrative HR related tasks
    • Disciplinary process
    • Performance appraisal process
    • Health and Safety administration
    • Development and monitoring of overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organisation
    • Application for and monitoring of training programs
    • General HR legal compliance processes

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12 Qualification
    • Post-matric qualification i.e. HR National Diploma
    • Must be computer literate (MS Office – Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook)
    • Knowledge of applicable software i.e.: Kronos, Mpower; Saflec
    • Knowledge of Labour Law and HR compliance

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

    • 2 - 5 years' work experience in a similar position
    • Experience in the Manufacturing Industry will be an added advantage
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality
    • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
    • People oriented and results driven
    • Competence to build and effectively assist in managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
