About Faeeda Emjedi:

With more than 10 years experience as a Human Resource Professional, I’ve been privileged to acquire industry knowledge, as well as gain understanding of best practices that would align to any organisational values. I look forward to the possibility of presenting myself in person.

Experience

§Identify and implement company training and career development strategies for all employees.

§Payroll administration.

§Training and coaching on-site management  and Supervisors on GVJ policies and procedures; hearing and resolving employee grievances; investigation of issues and problems when they arise, counselling employees. Ensure management creates and empowers a diverse workforce.

§Talent management and acquisition, recruitment, placement and onboarding.

§Assist with apprentice, learnership and internships programmes.

§Ensure compliance at all times (SA Laws and Regulations).

§Create and update company policies and procedures and ensure compliance.

§Performance management administration and implementation.

§Resolve and address labour issues; industrial relations and mediation.

§Chair of the disciplinary hearing.

§Promote wellbeing of employees and suggest organizational change if and when the need arises. Maintain good working relationship with National Bargaining Council for Electrical Industry and Electrical Contractors Association and ensure compliance at all times. And registration of staff.

§Management and facilitation of mentorship programme

§Coordination and all admin related to company bursary programme.

§Responsible for employee personal development plans- administration and implementation thereof. Including employee succession planning and career development.

§General HR administrative tasks: UIF, employee contracts, valid medical certificates, updating CV’s, employee increases, process and keep leave schedules updated, exit interviews, medical aid, provident fund.

§Assist managers in creating recognition programmes for their individual teams to assist with good morale and motivated staff.

§Customer satisfaction surveys.
