    Description

    Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Demand Planner to join our client in the Food Production industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for planning and a background in food production to contribute to a well-established company.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand to develop accurate demand forecasts for food products.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain, to gather relevant data and insights and align on demand plans.
    • Monitor and track inventory levels, ensuring availability of products to meet customer demands while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
    • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of raw materials and ingredients.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as forecast accuracy, fill rate, and inventory turns.
    • Identify potential risks and opportunities in demand patterns and develop strategies to address them.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Demand Planner in the food production industry.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
    • Proficiency in demand planning software and ERP systems.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge of supply chain concepts and best practices in the food production industry.
    • Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
