Our client is looking for a Demand Planner, The Demand Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining demand forecasts for food products.

This includes gathering and analyzing data, developing forecasting models, and communicating forecasts to stakeholders.

The Demand Planner will work closely with sales, marketing, and finance to ensure that demand is met while minimizing inventory costs.

Responsibilities:

Achieve stock holding targets across the different product groupings
Designing and generating weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports
Continuously improving forecasting techniques and methods and approach
Measuring the impact of forecast accuracy
Evolving and maintaining documentation and standard operation procedures for demand planning processes and systems
Conduct current and future forecasting analysis
Insuring forecasting processes and methods are followed
Analyse and assemble all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast
Recommend adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends
Prepare, report, and communicate forecast, inventory and replenish quantities measurements to senior management
Plan monthly and weekly production
Update weekly and daily management reports
Copackers stock planning and work schedule
Strategic and operational involvement in all aspects of demand planning functions including driving down costs
Effectively utilize inhouse systems for data analyses and reporting
