    Job Description:

    We are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Lead to join our team to lead the marketing, branding and communications at Code4Kids.

    You will be a full-time marketing hire and you will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategy and driving growth.

    An ideal applicant;

    1. Is someone who has worked in the education, or similar, industry selling to schools, teachers or has B2B SaaS marketing experience with more than 3 years of experience.
    2. Ideally been in a mid-level marketing role and is looking to step up into a senior position.
    3. Importantly we are looking first and foremost for someone who is a "doer" - you will be doing everything when it comes to the marketing; branding; speaking with customers to understand their needs; coordinating with the team; developing strategies; budgeting; executive reporting; setting up measurements; creating marketing-material, making and managing marketing campaigns or online events.
    4. Keeps up to date with the latest tools, knows how to scope, trial, implement and operate the latest off-the-shelf-tooling.
    5. Has competence in a number of marketing mediums from images, email, social media (TikTok), long-form (i.e. blogs), video to webinars.
    6. Has a wanting to deeply understand our customer and how we can strategically build brand recognition to meet their needs.
    7. Comfortable working at home and proven "Intrepreneur". Has the ability to identify and hire future team members.

    Requirements

    Responsibilities:

    1. Define and implement a comprehensive branding and marketing strategy to boost brand awareness and drive customer acquisition.
    2. Collaborate with all team members from sales, to product, to curriculum to align marketing initiatives with our business goals.
    3. Create compelling content to effectively communicate our value proposition across various marketing channels.
    4. Set up reporting and analysis to help inform the team.
    5. Plan and execute a variety of marketing campaigns, including social media, email, SEO, and content marketing.
    6. Track, report, and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.
    7. Lead initiatives for user engagement, retention, and overall customer lifetime value.

    Here are some things done in the past that we would expect going forward:

    1. Branding and Content Development.
      1. Support the curriculum team in building a cohesive brand identity. Everything you see here ,here (Foundation Phase), and here (Intermediate Phase) will be your responsibility in ensuring future content is delivered at the highest level of quality.
      2. Develop branding material used at conferences, online brochures or social media posts.
      3. Design and source conference materials including clothing, banners, promotional material, print media. Come up with creative ideas to stand out at conferences such as competitions, activities, prizes etc.
      4. Create a social media strategy for Linkedin, Instagram and Tik Tok. Create templates, a content calendar, write and schedule posts. Come up with initiatives to improve social media presence and engagement.
      5. Design website layout, content and SEO optimisation.
      6. Develop and maintain style guides.
    2. Knowledge of web design best practices and ability to create and optimize landing pages for conversion.
    3. Marketing Budget and co-ordinate. Coordinate a number of marketing initiatives and take ownership of the budget.
    4. Set up email marketing tools and email campaigns using tools such as Stripo, Zoho or
    5. Support sales team in developing marketing campaigns that target different markets locally and internationally.

    In summary, you have ownership here, you are required to be a person who can take ownership of the Code4Kids brand, marketing and awareness, you tell us what you need to prioritise while working closely with all other departments.

    Qualifications:

    1. Proven experience in a marketing role in a similar context to this.
    2. Demonstrable passion for education, the edtech industry and marketing.
    3. Excellent understanding of marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
    4. Proficient in marketing automation and analytics software.
    5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    6. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
    7. Willingness to dive into the day-to-day tasks of running marketing campaigns.
    8. A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
