    Event Services Coordinator

    beBee Professionals is looking for an experienced Event Services Coordinator to join our team in Johannesburg.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and coordination of events, including the management of vendors, budgeting, and the overall execution of the event.


    The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and coordination, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage event budgets
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors
    • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and transportation
    • Manage event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
    • Monitor event progress and make necessary adjustments
    • Ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events
    • Provide on-site support during events
    • Evaluate event success and submit reports

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and coordination
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Knowledge of event planning software
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
