    Description

    Hire Resolve's client is currently hiring a Structural Engineer. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and stability of structures in our construction projects. As a Structural Engineer, you will be involved in both the design and planning stages of projects, as well as providing technical guidance on-site to construction workers.

    To excel in this position, you should possess hands-on experience in various construction methods and materials, along with advanced knowledge of AutoCAD. Strong project management and analytical skills are also essential.

    Responsibilities:

    • Execute structural design projects across diverse markets by performing design, coordination, and documentation tasks
    • Create detailed structural models using computer-aided design software
    • Conduct structural engineering analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood/timber structures such as bridges, buildings, and retaining walls
    • Ensure compliance with construction safety guidelines
    • Select appropriate materials based on structural specifications
    • Monitor on-site construction processes and supervise workers
    • Provide solutions to construction issues during the project execution phase
    • Manage project budgets and track progress
    • Collaborate closely with contractors and project managers

    Requirements

    • B.Eng./BSc. Civil & Structural Engineering /Construction Management
    • 5+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer in the construction industry
    • Thorough knowledge of construction methods and building regulations
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software
    • Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
    • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
    • FE/EIT certification required
    • Membership in the Institute of Structural Engineering preferred
