About Tshepo Chiloane:
I refer to the job vacancy which I found on the website. I recently working at Anova Health Institute position held as Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator (PASP/ELMA Project). My motivation for applying for this possession is because of the unmatched value, hard work and the excellent self-development. I am interested in learning and experiencing new skills and how to improve data quality on high level.
In terms of interpersonal communication, I am responsive to my colleagues and am eager to help whenever possible. I am good at team work, able to consider and analyze different opinions, and take the lead when necessary. I am good at persuading others by creating relationships based on mutual trust and understanding. Besides work experience I participated in my daughter day and held roles as chair person. Taking part in extra-curricular activities provided me with invaluable organizational, public communication and leadership skills.

Experience
- Work together with the QI Advisor and Project Manager to design and implement measurement tools to monitor programme performance
- Report (Monthly, Quarterly, whenever requested) on Project activities and performance in line with Project workplan, programme performance indicators and as requested by Anova, DoH and Donor
- Verify collected data at DoH sites in the district to ensure its credibility
- Monitor trends of activities and performance indicators versus Programme plans and objectives and bring challenges to the attention of the project manager
- Managing 8 Data capturers in the team and assigning workloads and supporting collaboration across team members
- Responsible for their HR related mater and month to month timesheet requirements
- Overseeing 18 Linkage Office on their day-to-day data collection at facility level (onsite support where possible)
- Conduct performance management and drafting of staff performance contract
- Prioritizing tasks effectively for our team
- Update the project workplan quarterly (Targets against performance), and add new activities/indicators whenever necessary (as dictated by Project priorities)
- Liaise with relevant Apace staff (QI, M&E team, etc.) Managers at Department of Health, members of the ELMA consortium and other relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in district/ sub-district M & E technical Working groups related to Paediatric HIV programme
- Represent Anova in relevant M&E platforms related to the project
- Oversee the monitoring of PASP Community activities, ensuring reporting is done to DoH and USAID
- Monitor quality of DoH and APACE indicators regularly, and provide feedback to manager monthly, keep a live Excel sheet with ongoing progress for corrections. Triangulate DHIS/TIER/NHLS data and support reporting of NHLS Results for Action
- Use facility data to identify poor performing facilities monthly and focus support on those. Implement and report on data Quality Improvement Plans
- Manage day to day activities and HR requirements of team and follow performance management process for data team members
- Create schedule for team members and guide their activities based on workplan requirements.
- Provide training to project team, APACE team and DoH staff in data management, cohort analysis and interpretation- in line with Paediatric HIV/TB programmes
- Provide training and technical assistance to APACE staff and DOH staff to ensure thorough and complete understanding, skill, and ability to implement respective M & E plans.
- Conduct facility support visits to monitor facility progress on project indicators, identify challenges related to data flow, data capturing and reporting, and implement corrective measures to improve data quality, through a Quality Improvement approach
- Use data to identify poor performing facilities on project indicators to guide clinical teams’ focus areas
- Oversee linkages to care through patient data, generated from various data sources
