About N Vilakazi:
I have been fortunate enough to have started my work life in what turned out to be a great industry for me, Hospitality. Having begun my career at Swissport, I worked my way up to position of Senior Flight Attendant at South African Airways (SAA). Once I had gotten over the initial surprise of always being on the go, and working long hours in the round the clock nature of the industry, the most important lesson learnt is to view the entire customer experience. One is always going to have customer interfacing responsibilities , and there's no better place than the aircraft to learn how to coordinate resources and interact effectively with a diverse clientele (Diplomats, Business leaders, Celebrities and Tourists). Responding to a wide variety of operational circumstances and the unpredictability of it all (flights delaying, emergency situations, lost property and special needs passengers). I have learnt to appreciate how crucial self confidence , team spirit and communication is in operational environments. I am currently employed as a temp Operations Services Executive at CTICC.
