• Transport the mould from mould store to production using Falklift(7 tons)
• Putting the mould on the machine using gantry crane.(Over 6.5 tons mould weight)
• Change the mould (tool change)
• Connect the right ejector and put the right size of a locating ring.
• Insect change,Slide change,Stripper,Ejector plates/pins
• Water test the mould for blockages making sure that water runs smooth and the whole mould is cold they are no hot spot/parts because that will damage the product.
• Set the machine from clamping unit to injection unit according to opex.
• Minimise the high volume of rejects
• Feed the hopper with the right material and masterbatch following the job card.
• Check or Quality the product for deffects before approval.
• Check the spec(weight) of a product if its right by checking wall thickness using carliper tool and scale and make sure that the product is corresponding with a master sample.
• Monitor the smooth running of a machine from time to time ,check if the cycle time is still on a right avarage as its requered by the Opex.
• Service the mould (dissamble the mould wash all the parts, assemble it back and put mould spray to protect the mould from getting rust and store it in a mould store)
• Supervise the parkers on your machine and do daily report when your shift end & do handover to your partner.
