  1. Firstly I am a mother and a wife, in balance with that I am a hard worker , quick learner and always up for a challenge 
  2. Love doing admin (yes, you read that right)
  3. I am neat, passionate & organised, and wants to make a difference in other people lives
  4. When I do something I do it right, even if I have to ask a few “silly” questions along the road
  5. I am a happy, peoples person  - I love working with people (you learn so much from them)
  6. My computer skills are pretty neat – Microsoft incl excel, word, Powerpoint & outlook
  7. Telephone etiquette is a very important, as first impressions are lasting and Customer service satisfactory determined
  8. I have worked on SAP, Micros, GAAP & Sage X3 – Quotes, invoices, Balance Sheets, Costings, Store Orders, Customer Orders, Stock Levels etc
  9. I have mostly worked in the hospitality industry, where 50% of my duties were admin and required me to be office based often. I also have experience in debt collecting, debt consolidation and tracing via telephone – Work History etc. 
  10. Other than the above I am very determined, love a challenge, work best under pressure, and enjoy learning new skills
  11. currently my passion is within food safety and quality management where I have 5years experience 

 

Experience

  • Maintenance and coordination of the Quality Management System to maintain statutory compliance to the prescribed legal requirements in the Food industry.
  • Coordinating and assisting with technical training and overall competency to management and employees with regards to the operational aspects of the food safety program, pest control, environmental, operational methods and personnel practices, and maintenance for food safety and hygiene/cleaning practices.
  • Co-ordinate the ongoing development requirements of the department’s Quality program and compliance including carrying out internal audits.
  • Ensure that all registers and records and documentation relating to Food safety are maintained.
  • Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements pertaining to food safety throughout the organization.
  • Assemble and appoint the Food Safety Team(s) as needed, manage and coordinate the food safety team’s work.
  • Co-ordinate preparation of Flow Diagrams for each product / process category covered by the FSMS, including verification of the accuracy of those diagrams.
  • Lead review of food safety related process hazards for the facility/site periodically to ensure potential food safety hazards have been adequately addressed and controlled, report results of analysis to top management 
  • Implement, manage and maintain the Quality Assurance program to ensure compliance to HACCP, customer and company requirements.
  • Monitor QC result trends and ensure that the problems are dealt with efficiently and on time.
  • Ensure that relevant equipment is effectively maintained and calibrated.
  • Organize Food Safety review meetings and report/communicate on performance, effectiveness and suitability of the quality management system (QMS) and needs for any improvement communicate changes to senior management, Food Safety team members & general staff where required.
  • Initiate and supervise product recalls, to ensure adequate implementation and effectiveness
  • Investigate and resolve internal and external product quality issues.
  • Formal corrective action and or investigation, to rectify the system, a task, process, product or persons behaviour with a clear indication of the problem and thorough documentation of the resources and steps required to mitigate the immediate symptoms, with the primary goal to solve the root causes of the problem.
  • Attend to customer complaints, investigate and report back within strict deadlines.
