➢ Book shelving: shelving reading and shelving according to DDC
➢ Information service: conducting information searches using online database such as
Sabinet, Science direct and OPAC
➢ Assisting at short-loan section: which include law library, Africana, and reserve section
➢ Teaching library users how to utilize library resources such as self-check unit machine
➢ Assisting in circulation desk and main reserve section by borrowing, returning and
renewing library-own materials
➢ Attending library users queries.
➢ Assisting librarians with day-to-day management and operation of the library
➢ Enforcing policies regarding noise, eating, drinking
➢ Checking areas of the library to ensure that information on display is up to date
