Gugu Mngomezulu

I am Gugu Precious Mngomezulu a 23-year-old female who possesses a BA in Psychology and honours in Psychology from Nelson Mandela University. I plan to utilize my passion and knowledge in psychology to enhance and reach my own potential by making the most of any additional experience and opportunities granted, to learn more within the field of psychology or any field related. I am a person who is always eager to challenge myself to gain new experiences, in hopes of striving for self-actualization. I am highly organized and I enjoy working collaboratively. I always pay special attention to detail to ensure that I better my performance and produce excellent results in every task that I complete. 

As an individual who recently completed her honours in Psychology from Nelson Mandela University, I was an intern at the Non-Profit Organization Social Justice Women. I aided the organization's founder by ensuring that presentations, funding proposals, and all necessary admin duties are completed on time. I have three years of experience as a computer lab assistant, which has provided me with the necessary Microsoft office skills, problem-solving skills, and digital literacy skills. I worked as a volunteer peer helper for Nelson Mandela University's student counselling unit where I gained extensive experience interacting with the student community, which has greatly aided in the development of my communication and conflict-resolution skills. As a quality assurer and data capture, I worked as a marking assistant at the Gauteng Department of Education, where I learned to be well organized, self-driven, flexible, and able to use my time efficiently.

I have obtained a BA in Psychology and honours in Psychology from the Nelson Mandela University. Additionally I have completed a 120 Hours TEFL Certificate from TEFL Professional Institute- Teacher Records.
