Campaign: The Voice of Makro The assignment: Drive talk-ability online about Makro's array of deals to uplift awareness and sales. It's not what you say, but who says it: DStv Mzansi Viewers' Choice Actor, Bonko Khoza, who had humble beginnings as a Makro voice artist, launched a social media competition inviting people to upload Reels of themselves promoting Makro deals for a chance to WIN a #VoiceOfMakro contract. Speaking volumes:
- The brand was able to reach a previously untapped, younger audience by tapping into their strong engagement on social media.
- Entrants rallied the support of their communities through social sharing, increasing content engagements across hundreds of uploads.
Word on the street: Makro is supporting emerging local talent and has a wide range of great deals. Results:
