    Job Description

    The Claims Motor Assessing Moderator assumes responsibility for quantifying the additional damages and completing costing queries in the Assessing department.

    Responsibilities:

    • Moderate assessments completed by the service providers.
    • Monitor and manage the average repair cost as well as the quality of their own assessment.
    • Ensuring team members are behaving in line with the company procedures.
    • Dealing with escalated customer complaints and adhoc queries.
    • Liaise with service providers, clients and advisors.
    • Conduct all the above to the required performance and quality standards that are in place

    Qualifications
    • Matric
    • Qualified Panel beater, Spray Painter or Motor Mechanic
    • Meet minimum criteria for VDQ. (VDQ Professional Membership)
    • Leadership, Management and or Insurance related studies completed or in progress will be advantageous.
