    JOB SPECIFICATION: PAYMENTS ADMINISTRATOR

    JOB SUMMARY:

    As a Payment Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the payment and withdrawals processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of payment systems and financial operations.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Deposit Allocations: accurately depositing clients funds into their trading accounts.
    • Payment Processing: oversee the processing of payments through various payment channels (peach payments, ozwow and paygate) ensuring accuracy and timeliness by collaborating with internal teams to resolve any issues related to payment transactions.
    • Withdrawals Management: manage and process withdrawal requests promptly and accurately by conducting thorough reviews of withdrawal requests to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
    • Account Monitoring: monitor various financial transactions from merchants and payment providers for incoming, disputed and rejected payments and action accordingly.
    • Account Reconciliation: reconcile payment and withdrawal transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness and investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions.
    • Compliance: stay updated with industry regulations and compliance standards related to payment processing and withdrawals, ensuring that all payment and withdrawal activities and documentation comply with regulatory requirements.
    • Customer Support: respond to customer inquiries and concerns related to payments and withdrawals by assisting customers experiencing issues with transactions.
    • Documentation and Reporting: design reports to keep track of performance of various payment methods and maintain accurate records of payment and withdrawal transactions by preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on payments and withdrawal activities for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Process Improvement: develop department workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements to payment and withdrawal processes.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

    • Matric with 3 years + proven experience in payment processing and withdrawals administration preferably in the Fintech Industry
    • Familiarity with payment systems, banking procedures, and financial regulations.
    • Logical and data driven.
    • Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in MS Excel
