    Overview

    As part of the dedicated insolvency, restructuring and business rescue team, you will focus on minimising loss, maximising returns and assisting clients throughout Africa to proactively manage financial risk and exposure. The successful candidate will gain exposure to developing and implementing effective recovery strategies for viable business activities across the continent and maximising returns for creditors.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Consulting with clients and/or counsel Giving high quality legal advice to clients Discussing complex legal issues with clients, attorneys and counsel Analysing probable outcomes based on legal research Interpreting laws, rules and regulations Drafting legal opinions Drafting correspondence and administrative appeal related documents Maintaining the confidentiality of legal documents and client records Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients Assisting directors with preparation of training and other presentations Undertaking the legal work to the highest professional and client care standards Contributing to the Teams and the firms Knowledge Banks

    Qualifications & Experience Requirements

    • SA qualified and admitted attorney At least 2- 3 years post articles experience in an insolvency or litigation practice at a medium or large law firm
