    Job Offer:
    Catering Event Coordinator - Johannesburg

    beBee Professionals is looking for an experienced Catering Event Coordinator to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing catering events, from start to finish.


    The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and catering, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage event budgets
    • Coordinate with vendors to ensure all necessary supplies and services are provided
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors
    • Develop and implement event timelines
    • Manage event logistics, including setup and breakdown
    • Ensure all event details are executed according to plan
    • Monitor event progress and make necessary adjustments
    • Provide on-site support during events
    • Ensure all safety and health regulations are followed

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Event Planning, Hospitality, or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and catering
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Knowledge of safety and health regulations
