    Description
    Job & Company Description:

    A pioneering player in the FMCG market, is seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance Assistant / Debtors Clerk to join their finance team in Johannesburg. This role is essential in ensuring financial precision and enhancing customer relations through efficient account management.

    Qualifications:
    • Proven experience as a Finance Assistant/Debtors Clerk or similar role.
    • Experience on Paste Partner, Pastel Evolution, Quickbooks, advanced Excell
    • Strong knowledge of accounting software and Excel, experience with FMCG-specific financial software is a plus.
    • International Debtors & Creditors Experience would be advantageous
    • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Efficiently manage debtor accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices, minimizing overdue payments.
    • Maintain accurate financial records and assist in the preparation of monthly financial analyses and reports.
    • Liaise with clients to clarify any billing discrepancies and foster strong, professional relationships.
    • Support the finance team with data entry, processing, and generating reports using our state-of-the-art financial software.
    • Contribute to the implementation of new processes to improve financial efficiency and risk management
    • Full function Debtors
    • Debto Collection on accounts post 30 days
    • Capturing Cashbook
    • Allocation of Payments received
    • Invoicing
    • Monitor age analysis
    • Credit Notes
    • Income statements
