- Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provide support and guidance to, management, and other staff, on specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arising including performance issue; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks and investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Oversee induction of new employees.
- Analyse trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organisation attracts and retains top talent.
- Administer the Payroll
- Career development planning of all staff.
- Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practice, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Salary and leave reporting.
- TETA submission.
- Letter of Good Standing Submission.
- Employment Equity Submission.
- Assist with BEE submissions.
- Assist with Statutory submissions (PAYE).
- Oversee Health and Safety compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned i.e. Social Functions, IT etc.
- Organise Tradestream Academy.
- Manage the cancellation and acquiring new petrol cards.
- Any reasonable tasks deemed necessary by management.
