    Description

    Role Overview:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. The Finance Assistant will support the finance department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
    • 2 + Years experience
    • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
    • Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
    • Good organizational skills.
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment

    Responsibilities:

    • Processing and preparing financial statements.
    • Collecting and reviewing data for reports.
    • Suggesting improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and reducing costs.
    • Overseeing client accounts.
    • Prepare a balance sheet
    • Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
    • Create cost analysis reports for other departments
    • Keep track of accounts payable and accounts receivable
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations.
    • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
