PartMasters is a company selling laptop components to every corner of South Africa. The company has seen a rapid growth since its inception in 2016.

From our kitchen table in Blairgowrie, Randburg, we have grown into a nationwide company with offices in Durban, Gqeberha, Johannesburg and Cape Town.

We are a market leader of laptop parts but have managed the keep the small company atmosphere. We are looking for a Finance Assistant that can work independently for 6 months to cover maternity leave.

Rapid growth in a company brings its challenges and you will need to be a dynamic person that is able to change quickly with the direction of the company.

We expect our employees to be very well-versed in English both verbal and written. You need to know the difference between "there" and "their", "I" and "i" and your punctuation should be correct.


The role includes various tasks on our financial database including bank transactions, supplier invoices, statements and reconciliation of cash boxes.

You will be the main contact for our clients in the finance department. Ideally you would have a financial qualification and wish to gain experience.

Minimum requirement

  • An accounting related professional qualification
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance
  • Excellent with Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • At least 2 years of Financial experience with at least one year of experience with Sage Accounting
Duties

  • Capturing of supplier invoices and other expenses
  • Create and allocated banking transactions
  • Cashbox reconciliation
  • Handling clients' queries
  • Handling internal queries regarding customer payments
  • Dealing with queries from our eCommerce websites
You will be part of a small team. You will be able, wiling and required to assist other departments. This will include assisting walk-in clients with sales queries.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
R6, R10,000.00 per month

  • Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Diploma (preferred)

Experience:


  • Financee: 2 years (preferred)

  • English Fluently (preferred)
