Description

Our client, a well-established manufacturing organisation is looking to employ an experienced Electrician.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Electrical maintenance on plant machinery.
Planned and preventative maintenance with minimum time wastage.
Must be experienced in working with PLC's & USD's.
Thorough knowledge of sensors used in conveyor lines.
Fault Finding / Diagnostics of Electrical & Electronic problems.
Adherence to Safety, Health, and Environmental standards as per company procedures & policies.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have served a recognized apprenticeship.
Trade test passed with red seal certificate preferable.
Wireman's License is preferable.
Frequency speed drives and servo drive experience.
Recognized Electronics qualification.
Experience with PLC programming is preferable.
At least 5 years of post-qualification manufacturing experience working on high-speed machinery.
Must be able to work overtime, be on call out, and work weekends if required.
Able to work shifts.
