    Description

    Job title: Qualified Electrician

    Location: Brackenfell

    Salary: R120 per hour (180 hours per month) plus overtime when required

    Job Description: My client is looking for a qualified electrician with 3 to 5 years of working experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various electrical tasks and must possess specific qualifications and skills outlined below.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.

    2. Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.

    3. Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems and equipment.

    4. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

    5. Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.

    6. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients.

    7. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

    8. Provide guidance and support to apprentices and junior staff as needed.

    Requirements:

    1. Matric certificate.

    2. Red Seal certification in electrical.

    3. 3 to 5 years of practical experience in the electrical field.

    4. Proficiency in single-phase electrical work, including single-phase wireman.

    5. Valid driver''s license.

    6. Preferably possess a public driver''s permit (PDP).

    7. Own reliable transportation.

    Skills and Abilities:

    1. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and components.

    2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    4. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

    5. Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
