    Description

    Hire Resolve's client in solar manufacturing industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Team Lead Installation Electrician to join their team in Western Cape.

    Responsibilities:

    · 1. Solar PV electrical installations

    o Grid tied inverter installations with integration to the incoming supply

    o Battery backup installations with integrated PV either full or partial backup

    o Commissioning of systems

    o Setting up of internet monitoring

    o Installation of monitoring systems

    · 2. Solar system maintenance

    o Pre-emptive maintenance inspections

    o Callouts from client

    · 3. Electrical works

    o Separating essential and non essential consumers

    o Energy efficiency measures such as changing lights and appliances.

    o Site visits

    o Creating material lists

    · 4. Management of Installation Teams

    o Management of Teams and subcontractors including but not limited to:

    o Safety File Management

    o Tool box talks

    o Guiding and training of Installation staff

    o Monthly Tool box inspection

    o Ensuring Job cards are completed accurately and timeously

    o Ensuring installations run smoothly and completed in the allocated time

    o Working closely with PM for Calendar planning

    o Conducting pre installation site visits

    o Checking material lists pre installation

    o Providing feedback to Management to implement better processes

    o Ensuring that all installation works are Electrically and OHS compliant and issuing COC's

    o Ensuring that teams are briefed correctly

    · 5. Diverse tasks

    o Review and update material lists

    o Update project progress lists such as Monday's/ teams/ similar system

    o Team communication via Microsoft Teams or relevant channel

    Requirements

    • Applicable NQF level qualification for Electricians
    • Wireman's licence, mandatory
    • Certified Installation Electrician
    • COC testing and sign-off single phase - mandatory
    • COC testing and sign-off 3 phase - Mandatory
