Experience
Strategy Implementation
- Compile and improve retention policies in line with 3 months on‑boarding interviews to identify root causes of employees issues
- Complete full feedback analysis and work closely with line management after identifying employee root causes and also conduct exit interviews.
- Contribute to the HR deliverables in partnership with HR manager
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new HR initiatives and systems
- Deliver the HR function to all employees and administer the integration of HR root causes and issues
- Execute all Human Resources strategies in line with the function of HR
- Provide advice and guidance on Industrial Relations matters related to BCEA, LRA and EEA.
Employee Relations
- Resolves employee relations’ issues with a systematic approach.
- Works with employees and managers to determine root causes of issues and applies relevant solutions consistent with legal requirements.
Learning and Development
- Complete induction training of new staff in consultation with Manager and complete full on‑boarding process for new starters
- Compile and Draft Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) for internal staff members
- Implement all new employee policies and conduct training for company’s policies
- Manage training database, record all expenses and control budget by providing monetary insight to the training committee
- Responsible for co‑ordination and administration of study financial applications and internal and external bursaries, respond to queries and provide advice, schedule career counselling’s if needed.
Performance Management
- Accountable for the evaluation of performance reports on quarterly basis and recommending performance improvement plans for employees
- Obtain details of vacancies such as Job descriptions and candidate specification
- Provide input with the management of job descriptions.
Administration
- Manage information regarding sick leave instances for HR Report
- Manage all leave records and HR administration on Internal System
- Maintain employee personnel documents manually and electronically
- Prepare & Complete the files for Skills Development, EE audit and other relevant audits
- Partner with booking agents & coordinate international and local travel for HR Manager.
Talent Management
- Manage all recruitment from lower level management to middle level management across all business silos
- Maintain all open vacancies on internal system (HeRo), approvals of vacancies and training completed from staff
- Liaise with stakeholders to identify vacant posts and provide a recruitment plan for each position
- Manage requisition and provide feedback to all short‑listed candidates
